Most of the time, our body tells us when bacteria are developing in our system, especially if they will significantly affect our health. We often ignore these signs, and they end up costing us a lot. Pimples are one of those things we usually overlook.

Pimples are usually caused by hormonal changes in the body, wrong skincare, poor diet, health issues, and external factors, which can result in clogged or inflamed oil or the presence of bacteria in the skin. Pimples sometimes indicate underlying health problems that can be addressed before they worsen.

There might be little or no scientific proof that this ancient Chinese and Ayurvedic techniques of face mapping actually works, as cheek acne is because of liver or acne on the ear is a sign of kidney issues. But, as disappointing as that may be, there are also some backup claims that help in face mapping some pimples and will help you take.

HAIRLINE ACNE.

Pimples surrounding your hairline are usually caused by your hair care. This is also called “pomade acne.” Pomades are thick, often mineral oil-based hair products. This ingredient keeps the natural oil in your hair follicles from exiting. This blockage is what creates a pimple.

If this kind of acne is constant, it is best that you stop using the pomade, wash your face after application, and be diligent about using a clarifying shampoo. It is also good if you switch to noncomedogenic products (nonclogging).

ACNE ON THE JAWLINE AND CHIN.

Face mapping is actually accurate in this area. Chin and Jawline acne is caused by fluctuations in hormones, which means a disruption in the endocrine system. It is a result of excess androgens, which overstimulate the oil glands and clog pores. This happens mostly during a menstrual cycle, during puberty, or due to switching or starting birth control medications. Diets can also affect your hormones, especially when you are high on sugar and dairy products.

Your dermatologist can help create a strategy that will help fight stubborn acne.

ACNE ON THE FOREHEAD AND NOSE.

Breakouts in these areas are usually caused by oil and stress. Studies have shown that high stress doesn’t affect oil production, but it can make acne more serious. Another study has shown that people who wake up tired are more prone to having acne as well.

If you notice this pattern, try to meditate before bed and practice good sleep hygiene. Avoid touching your forehead. Touching your face spreads oil and dirt directly into your pores. If you have oily skin, drugstore salicylic acid washes can help reduce the greasiness.

ACNE ON THE CHEEKS.

If you constantly have acne on your cheeks, you have probably got traces of bacteria on your pillow cases and phones too. Anytime you hold your phone to your face, you are spreading bacteria to your skin, potentially causing more acne on the sides of your face. Acne on your cheeks can be due to dirty pillow cases, phones, and constant touching of your face.

Cleaning your smartphone regularly and constantly washing your pillow cases can help minimize the acne. Consider buying Bluetooth sets for those who work with their phones constantly.

FACE MAPPING.

The modern-day face mapping technique can be very helpful when it comes to clearing breakouts, but that doesn’t mean it is for everyone. Your facial and skin care routine can also help clear pimples on your face and body. You can also change products

If changing up your lifestyle and routine doesn’t help, talk to your dermatologist about a treatment to reduce the acne and chances of scarring.
