GLOW-UP HABITS FOR MENTAL AND PHYSICAL WELLNESS

Girl, let’s be honest, you need a glow-up, and I do too, and there’s nothing to be ashamed of because every girl at some point needs one or has already had a glow-up. It’s something every girl goes through, and you’ll have to go through it as well. I’m just here to help you with some tips.
Before you start your glow-up journey, there are some things you need to understand. First, you cannot achieve this in one month or so. It is not a mission, it is a journey. You have to understand that it takes time and a lot of trial and error to get to where you actually want to be. Secondly, you will spend money. You have to throw any the scarcity mindset involving money because you need money for the things and products you are going to use to glow up. View it as an investment because it is, and it is the best investment you can ever make for yourself. So let’s get into it.
YOU NEED A BODY, SKIN AND HAIR CARE ROUTINE
This is super important for your overall health, even if people don’t see it like that. Skin, body and hair care is more of a health thing than a beauty thing. It is the best and probably only way to take care of yourself physically. You don’t need to start with a huge amount of products because, in truth, you will keep on trying till something works. Do some research on your skin type before doing your routine or using any products.
DRINK WATER
Now this is the cheat code. Studies have shown that drinking water first thing in the morning helps hydrate the body, boost metabolism and improve digestion. You need to be drinking water as much as you can. It is so helpful, and it is the best way to stay healthy on a budget
EXERCISE
Now, I am still new to this, but it is such a good way to stay fit and healthy. There are so many types of workouts you can do, and any one you choose works just fine. Invest in a good gym and work out because it is the best thing you can do for yourself.
SET BOUNDARIES AND KNOW YOUR SELF-WORTH
This is more mental than physical. Knowing how to set boundaries and knowing your self-worth is one of the key things you need to actually glow up. Know what you want and what you will know more receive in your life, and start removing anything and everything you are not comfortable with. This will raise your self-esteem and make you a better person overall.
LEARN AND GROW
You can’t glow up if you are still stuck in the same mindset. You need to fill your mind with new thoughts and genuine things that can help you become better. Read books, listen to podcasts, watch TED Talks, buy eBooks, and take online courses. This will help you grow into the best version of yourself and enhance your learning.
TAKE YOURSELF OUT ON A DATE
This is a form of self-care to me. It’s a way of looking after yourself. Take yourself out. Buy yourself everything you want someone else to buy for you. Spend time on yourself and anything else you want to do with others. This is such a good way to grow up and boost your self-esteem because you’ve proven to yourself that you can do it alone.
